S is for Spain

Hola ..... we have spent 7 great days in beautiful Spain. Weather was quite similar to Malta and the beach was fun even though water much colder than our beautiful sea. K and L had a great time at Marineland Aquapark especially the dolphin show.

We all loved beautiful Barcelona especially the Sagrada Famiglia by Gaudi and all the beautiful architecture in it.

We also visited the Aquarium in Barcelona. K and L had a great time seeing closely all that fish.

Our Snacks of traditional food bought from the market at the Ramblas were the best street food we could taste.

The Magic Fountain of Montjuic are the best entertainment in Barcelona at night. Water dancing to music .... magical!!

Girona was another excursion which takes you back in time of a different era in Spain.

We also visited the Black Madonna in Montserrat.

The last day K and L had great fun in Portaventura whilst we ended the holiday with a delicious Spanish meal of tapas and Seafood and a wonderful Flamenco Show!!!

Travelling is a great experience to learn about the culture and life and traditions of other countries. The little time we spent in Spain was a great experience for the children and us. I am sure there is much more to learn and see but I am happy we gave this experience to our children.
We are already looking for new places to visit .... !
